Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has sold over 3 million tickets globally making it one of the most popular current traveling exhibitions.

Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience fluidly merges classical and contemporary viewpoints into a rich, unique multimedia experience using cutting-edge projection technology that breathes new life into Van Gogh’s vast body of work.

Grand Opening & exhibit PR

In March of 2022, our team helped open the Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience exhibit in Sarasota. We were tasked with the communications strategy, efforts and VIP party for the grand opening as well as curating ongoing media throughout the five months of the exhibit. Within the first month of the opening, our team was able to garner 62 media hits, 1.8M impressions and $145,562 worth of ad value equivalency. We also managed all local event calendar listings to make sure the event description, ticket info and dates were up to date on all digital.

Throughout the following months, we curated additional creative ideas to keep the media interested in the exhibit including a diaper drive event for Mother’s Day, crafting a story behind the artist’s inspiration for this exhibit and a sunflower “festival” at the exhibition on Vincent Van Gogh’s birthday to aid in driving ticket sales. Our team helped strategize the creative ideas and pitch to media.

 

By the time we wrapped up our PR efforts at the close of the exhibit, over a course of five months, we were able to garner 147 media hits leading to over 4.3M impressions and $341K in ad value equivalency. The Sarasota exhibit was one of the top-selling Beyond Van Gogh exhibits across all their experiences in the country.

Challenge: Promote local and national brand awareness for the St. Petersburg restaurants through online media coverage and position leadership and chefs as experts in their craft.

PR Objective: Leverage seasonal menus and recipes to secure local and national F&B media placements. Increase local brand awareness for both restaurants and their award-winning wine menus.

​

Strategy: Proactively pitched timely restaurant materials including executive chef profiles, menu updates, holiday cocktails and recipes as well as cooking tips, best niche cooking practices and the story behind the food. Leveraged relationships with local media to secure local coverage.

​

Providing quotes and commentary to journalists who needed sources to comment on trending food stories or recipe listicles proved for successful ongoing national media placements.

Special announcement

In partnership with Top Trumps USA, the Bais team worked help with a major announcement... that monopoly was going to feature Tampa and bring a special Tampa Edition Monopoly board to our city. 

​

Phase I included an announcement that an official Monopoly board was coming to Tampa and asking the community to submit recommendations for the board. Beyond the announcement and securing media coverage, our team also helped make introductions within the community including Visit Tampa Bay. 

​

Phase II, taking place roughly 8 months later, was the unveiling of the Tampa Monopoly board at a press conference hosted at Busch Gardens. Media and VIPs were invited to attend to see the board for the first time in person, meet Mr. Monopoly and receive/give quotes for media.

Founded in 2005 by CEO Tim McEnery, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is built upon the passionate belief that food and wine hold the power to forge lasting connections.

​

The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private dining room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof.

New location opening

Timeframe: 3 months (September - November)

​

Goal: Earn media coverage around Cooper Hawk's new Wesley Chapel location opening. Our team helped plan two media & VIP events to help garner awareness of the restaurant opening in the area. 

 

Media Pitching: Media outreach included an official announcement press release announcing the grand opening along with targeted media pitches for influencer night, media previews, local morning show segments as well as long lead local editorial. 

​

Results: A significant number of media hits were earned by pitching Cooper’s Hawk expansion to the Wesley Chapel area.

​

Having a photographer in attendance at the VIP night + ribbon cutting ceremony was a great addition as she captured a good mix of the staff and leadership with the guests.
